Kauri Room of the Historic Homestead - caters for groups of 10 or less
Suitable for small group meetings, planning sessions, training sessions and a break out room from the function centre.

The Kauri Room is a stately Kauri panelled room that looks out onto the Theatre Lawn and beyond in the distance to the garden gazebo. Two sets of French doors open out onto the veranda of the Homestead and a large paved area.  With this option Woodlands Country Cuisine, resident caterers can cater to your requirements, or you may enjoy a wander over to our Woodlands Cafe for lovely lunch.

Function Centre - caters for up to 150 seated (170 summer time using the function centre verandah also) or 250 theatre style
Suitable for conferences, product launches, Christmas parties, Christmas lunches, themed dinners, ceremonies for dignitaries, celebrations of life, meetings, planning and training sessions.

Opening out onto the Music Lawn and rose gardens, the temperature controlled Function Centre is an elegant yet practical room for a large variety of functions.


Woodlands Cafe 

Suitable for casual Cafe dining or evening group functions of less than 50 people (inside), 70 people (outside).

Set on the Woodlands Fletcher Cricket Oval and offering a range of old favourites and new exciting cuisine.

Woodlands Cricket Oval
Suitable for team building, social sport, large product launches, concerts and picnics.

The Oval was designed with English County Cricket games in mind and is available for group bookings.

Theatre Lawn
Suitable for conferences, Christmas parties, themed dinners. The Theatre Lawn accommodates a marquee large enough to seat 400 people.

An ideal evening setting for large functions, it is enhanced at night by the lighting of the surrounding oak trees and the Historic Homestead.

Music Lawn
Suitable for garden parties, cocktail parties, ceremonies.

The perfectly manicured music lawn is surrounded by rose gardens and shelted by the Historic Homestead and Function Centre. A small music pavilion at one end of the lawn is ideal for ceremonies or your string quartet or jazz band. Enjoy drinks on the lawn before moving into the beautiful function centre for your event or use it for small groups to break out of the main meeting or training session.

Woodlands Gardens
Suitable for group tours, outdoor planning sessions, picnics, treasure hunts, group or product photographs.

Eight hectares of beautiful gardens and majestic woodlands, much of which was planted over 135 years ago. A garden for all seasons.

Catering
Woodlands Country Cuisine is the exclusive Caterer onsite for your convenience. Offering tailor made menu options from silver service to finger food lunches and everything in between.

Equipment
Indoor tables comfortably seat eight and outdoor tables seat six.
A full range of conference equipment is available on site and is part of your venue hire cost.
A sound system in the Function Centre has indoor and outdoor speakers and microphone. Lapel Microphone also available.
Market umbrellas, gazebos, BBQ and picnic tables are also available.
The Function Centre and Buffet Room are air conditioned for your comfort.

Patio Heaters are available for hire.

Getting To Woodlands
Woodlands is only a 15 minute drive from central Hamilton and 70 minutes south of Auckland (see printable map on this website). There is parking for up to 400 cars and coach parking is also available.

Service
