Woodlands is the Waikato's most romantic wedding venue featuring 8 hectares (15 acres) of beautiful gardens and formal lawns, the Historic Homestead and the purpose built temperature controlled function centre.

Only 15 minutes north of Hamilton and 70 minutes south of Auckland.

Woodlands Wedding Expo was a great success!  Congratulations to all our winners, with spot prizes on the day and I am very pleased to advise that the following people won discounts.

The ease and convenience of holding all of your special day in one location is one of the best attributes of Woodlands.  This means that family, guests and especially the bride and groom, can relax and enjoy the day at their own pace.

No limit on guest numbers, no function is too big or small.  

If required, we also specialise in assisting you to bring in any extra Marquee(s), lounge furniture, staging etc. on site if required for those larger Banquet style Weddings.

Woodlands became the venue for Mr and Mrs Graeme Rogerson's spectacular Wedding.  An international event attended by overseas guests and  entertainers, including Leo Sayer.  If you want specialist work, the team at Woodlands can help. Our exclusive onsite caterers, Woodlands Country Cuisine, pride themselves on a highly personalised and caring service.  They work with you to tailor a menu which suits your individual requirements and budget.  Even if you are not really sure what you want, they have plenty of great ideas to help make your special day successful and unique.  Then, you can rely on them to deliver exactly what they promised, no fuss, no surprises!  Their delicious, homemade fare is well presented and served in abundance.  In fact, in terms of value for money, you will find them very hard to beat!. 
 
Venue hire costs including GST :
Saturday and Public Holidays         Hire Fee $2,300
Sunday and Friday                        Hire Fee $2,100
Monday to Thursday                     Hire Fee $1,900

Winter Wonderland Special (see seperate website section) $1,500 including GST, any day of the week for the months of May, June, July and August 2010! 

Prices apply whether you are having both your Ceremony and Reception at Woodlands, or just your Reception.  Pricing includes access from 8.30am through to midnight on your wedding day!  We are full licensed until 2am, please talk to us about this.

The venue hire includes full set up by Woodlands staff for Ceremony and Reception, the use of indoor and outdoor seating, buffet tables, registry table, cake table, free accsss to Homestead for your guests, use of the Function Centre Sound System, Security person onsite during your event, and full breakdown of the room and cleaning at the completion of your Wedding. 

Ladies!  You may even like to use the Homestead Master Bedroom on your Wedding Day to dress for the Wedding?  Bring your bridal party, beautician and  hairdresser along! 

Guests may enjoy the Historic Homestead and Gardens, which will take the time pressure off the photographer and bridal party.  They are able to enjoy a stroll around the 15 acres of gardens and tour through the beautiful Historic Homestead, helping to create an extra special memory.

The estate is very private, well off the road and looks magnificent lit at night as well as being breath taking during the day.  The function centre is purpose built and comfortably seats 120 / 150 banquet style with a dance floor and room for a large band.  For summer events 170 using the function centre verandah also. The function centre opens out on to the music lawn, which is a lovely setting for drinks and canapés between your ceremony and reception.
